National Trust - Kings & Queens

Here is our first 2006 album recommendation, unlike the first, on their second effort named Kings & Queens, The National Trust propose something different beacause this time they include musicians from many backgrounds like R&B, funk and disco even afro-jazz, using some of that style elements and they manage to accomplish a unique style of modern soul, the production is carefuly clean and finely structured, the vocals blend perfectly with the melody making it a more poppy sound.
Again Chicago is offering a vast pile of good artists and ideas, making a sumarie of new albums of soul and funk, I could say that as the modern world is full of technology, we are missing our soul.
Here you can listen to 2 samples of Kings & Queens.
